Human Hair

Place your wig in to a bowl containing luke-warm water. Apply, T Range shampoo evenly and gently agitate the hair into a lather. One shampoo is usually enough.

Rinse using tepid water until all traces of shampoo are removed. Never rinse under high pressure water spray or tap.

Hand squeeze away excess water and apply T Range conditioner, evenly throughout. Work the conditioner into the hair and carefully comb through.

Rinse out the conditioner using spray of tepid water.

Blot the excess water using a towel and position the wig onto a suitable sized poly block. Take great care at this stage to avoid running the teeth of a comb or brush through the knotted roots or foundation as the knots will have absorbed water, expand and become looser (this conditioner will revert when the hair becomes dry).

All Trendco Human Hair wigs can be set using conventional curlers and hood dryers. Heated rollers will offer a quick but temporary curl. You can also use hair straighteners if you would like a straighter look. We do recommend that you use hair products to protect the hair when you apply heat, we suggest out T Range which we have found works the best.

Fibre - Day to day care

For the best results and the prolonged life of your purchase, we recommend:

  1. Before / After wearing, spray the fibre-hair lightly with Soften 'n Sheen, then gently remove any knots and tangles with the fingers.
  2. Scrunched permed models must never be brushed - arrange instread using fingers only or a wide tooth Afro Comb. Straight or Waved styles may be brushed through, using a wig brush.
  3. If worn daily wash every 10 - 14 days otherwise once per month is ok.

Important Notes

Permed / curled styles will need re-setting and further information can be ontained from our Head Office. These also require more thorough after care and will need replacing more frequently than waved / straught styles. Never use tongs or a hand held dryer on fibre hair. Never wash in hot water (this will straighten the fibre hair). It is quite normal to loose some fibre when following the After Care / Washing Guide. Please also note that continual wearing of some fibre wigs can result in friction frizz, especialy for those at collar length or longer.
